Create Your Own Story This game is basically going to be where I write pieces of a story, then you guys tell me what happens next, and I will write based on what you guys choose. It's basically a bunch of cause/effect stuff. You guys are the cause, and I write the effects. RULES: No questioning the story. Things may get a little weird. That's the point. Be creative with your responses. I am limited by what you guys say. Here goes the story: Johnathan is a retired spy. He had traveled all around the world. Cambodia, Iran, Brazil, Sydney. You name it, he's been there. But after receiving an injury that paralyzed his left leg, he was forced to retire. The government compensated him and dumped him in the middle of suburban Chicago. He now has a wife named Judith, and three kids. Delilah, Justin, and Keith. His days now are drastically different from 10 years ago. Now he's forced to stay at home and do pretty much nothing. His wife is an EMT. He is home alone most of the time. On a fine morning in March, his cell phone rang. It was his old boss from the spy agency, George Barthin. Does he answer the phone, or does he let it ring? The choice is yours.

Gonna go with srsishere's, since she said it first.
Johnathan didn't want to get involved with the spy agency again. He had had enough of it. As the phone rang, he felt a little guilty. His boss had always been nice to him, and for all he knew, could have just been calling to check up on him. But he didn't want to take any chances. If George really just wanted to check up on him, he would visit him for a chat. The phone stopped ringing. It gave a two-second ring which let Johnathan know that there was a voice mail. He slowly picked up the phone as if there were a bomb inside of it that would go off at the slightest movement. Johnathan played the message.
"Hello, Johnathan. It's George Barthin. Look, it's been almost five years since I talked to you. I understand why you didn't pick up. You probably think I have a mission for you. Well, if you thought that, then you're right. Please don't delete the message yet, though. It's only two stars on the danger scale. I can't say anymore, in case this gets intercepted. Meet me at the Chicago Library on Friday, 2:00 PM."
Does Johnathan meet his old boss, or does he ignore it?

Johnathan decided that he was going to meet his old boss. The worst that could happen was that he could say no to the mission, right? The rest of the week passed rather uneventfully. No phone calls from his former boss. When Friday came, he got himself ready and left the house. The drive wasn't too bad, traffic was a little heavy, but when is it not in a city like Chicago? He arrived at the ten story library. As soon as he walked in, he saw his old boss, guarded by three large men. They hadn't noticed him yet. It certainly doesn't look like a 2-star mission. He has a chance to turn back.
Does he turn back and not meet his old boss, or does he go through with it? Last chance to decide.

> Go ahead and see what the mission is. If it's really a 2-star mission, they can just get someone else to do it.
