We actually have some of these ideas in the works, it's just that it's been tough communicating with all the staff at once. And I'm going to be gone until the middle of next week, so there will most likely be no news on any of these. But, if I can get a minute or two to talk to all the staff members at once, we will definitely discuss these ideas. As he said, keep the ideas coming. I would really like to do many of these, and it will be possible, as long as we have active members!

I'm defiantly all for a vanilla restart. Or even a modded server. Just the server right now seems very boring to me, and to be honest I dread playing it. I also agree that a UHC would be fun, if we could get enough people to play.

I like the idea of pvp maps, UHC to me is a little boring, a bit repetitive.
So yeah, some pvp or team challenge maps would be quite cool. If of course we can get enough people...

Depending on time and number of people, I could host a pvp map server some time  It seems silly messing around with the server just for a few hours of pvp |

Although I have no interest in PvP maps, I would be interested in a post 1.8 vanilla reset. Part of the reason I haven't been on in a while is because I have wanted to play with the new features in the snapshots. An update and reset would bring me back.
Also, I would love to have a chance to participate in the dragon fight this time around.

I've been at the abbey so I would like to first apologize for not being able to play. The internet doesn't allow outer servers to be connected to it. But I would like the reset for 1.8 and also the pvp ideas but just for kicks and giggles maybe we could do non-murdering sports like speed building, redstone contraption contests and have the "UPPER AUTHORITY be judges and make it like iron chef where the non staff can choose a staff to challenge to a build off. Just an idea, any opinions on it? Good or bad?

To be fair (not really my choice) but I think it would be good to not add more official members right now, possibly invite friends and stuff to play pvp and challenge maps and then invite people to the server from that? If that makes any sense  |

That's not a bad idea. If you guys have any friends refer them to the forums, and we can set up like a guest application thing where they can like join our events and stuff? What do you guys think about that?
