Hello folks! Chicknboy here. Recently Hobo, Sevansi, Tdodd and I have been playing a lot of Pixelmon. We've talked to Chris about this some, and where wondering if you guys thought it would be a good idea to replace FTB with Pixelmon. Not much else to say here. Kthxbye.
EDIT: For those who don't know, Pixelmon is basically a mod that recreates pokemon in Minecraft. Lotsa fun.

You had me at pokemon.
Its still pretty annoying though. Tried it in singleplayer and running away seems fairly useless because the pokemon just attack you right away again. |

Yeah, and the levels are kind of unbalanced. I created a ssp, and spawned in an ultraball, and caught a level 47 Pikachu on my first try. It's safe to say that my starter kind of went bye-bye. But it's still really fun if you have a group of people playing.
EDIT: Also, it doesn't seem like speed really matters. I've never gone first, even if the pokemon is 10 levels under.

Speed did seem to matter for me. I regularly went first even when the other pokemon was slightly higher in level (1 or 2 levels or so) Might depend on the starter you chose.
And yes levels are horribly unbalanced. Hello level 47 Snorlax, how are you doi... no dont attack m.. and im dead.

That's strange. I've tried most of the starter, except for grass. Even if I were like level 24 and my enemy was 13 or something, they attacked first. Even if it was just a tackle or something, and not quick attack.
I doubt that this server will be going up anytime soon, maybe sometime in December. In the meantime, me and Sevansi plan to build a map for the CharcoalChewers. That is, if we are going to even do this server. I will add a poll so that we can all vote on whether or not we should do this.
