Our group consists of around six guys playing Vanilla SMP. We are a tight knit community, and have a great time playing on the server. We aren't about any mods, cheats, or greifing, just legit, friendly play! We are looking to expand our playerbase and gain around ten new members.
Hope to see you on the server soon!

Does your server have a spawn area with community buildings? Is everyone close by on the same continent or really spread out? I like what I have read so far and I hope I get to see it!

Yes, no/yes. We are thinking of doing a village type of thing for spawn, and then a carnival about 100 blocks away. Everyone will get a 25x25-50x50 space for spawn village, then we will make the carnival spots 50x50 as well, since the games might require quite a bit of space. Everyone's main base that isn't in the spawn village should be within 2000 blocks of spawn.

Is this a mindcrack based server? Is our(the players) main purpose adding things(farms, houses, redstone,...)to the spawn? Seeing as there is a community village and "carnival"(What exactly is this?) i thought it might have become "mindcrack"...?

We tried to do the thing were everyone gets a plot and can build there last time, but really didn't work out, so this map, I think we have decided to make some games at spawn everyone can play and enjoy. Although we may end up making some houses or stuff, cause most everyone has moved out and found a place of their own.

So your homebase has to be within 2000 blocks from spawn? that seems like a bummer, but i havent gotten on the server, so it might not matter at all. either way though - anyway i could not do that if in the chance i get on?

I don't think that's our rule. I'm pretty sure that as long as it suits what you need, you can build there. As long as no one is building right next to it, or you make a deal with them.

Chickn is right. But although since the next update will most likely be the biome update, don't go to far out like 10000 blocks.

They haven't announced for it, but if you follow Jeb and Dinnerbone on Twitter, they have tweeted out some pictures of some things.

Though it is probably unlikely that I am accepted when I apply I just have a question or two about the server: 1. When updates come out (including snapshots) will you upgrade to them or will you wait for the main releases? 2. I understand your community is a tight one which is brilliant but do you often use Skype and talk or do you just type chat?
